There aren’t many historical landmarks in Providenciales. The most important of these is Cheshire Hall, a cotton plantation from the Loyalist era.
Another distinctive natural feature of Providenciales is Chalk Sound National Park. Hundreds of tiny, finely sculpted limestone islands set against brilliant turquoise water in this lagoon create a magnificent scene.
